Always Sea Fresh...
Fresh ocean shrimp historically has only been available for a few months of the year and primarily in close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. Magnolia Shrimp are harvested every week to be delivered fresh within the heartland area of the USA. Our shrimp are harvested, washed, packed on ice or live to some locations and delivered within 24 hours to our customers.


Healthy and Naturally Raised
Magnolia Shrimp are healthy and raised naturally with no antibiotics, hormones, chemicals or preservatives. Magnolia has developed a unique production system that is sustainable, environmentally friendly, and entirely natural. Water is refreshed and recycled on a continuous basis. Waste is managed by a biological system that incorporates mother-nature's methodology.

Located in south central Kentucky, Magnolia Shrimp can easily reach several major markets in less than 6 hours. This includes Nashville, TN (less than 2 hours), Louisville and Lexington, KY (~ 2 hours), Cincinnati, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and St. Louis, MO (~ 4 hours) and Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL (5 ½-6 hours).


Taste, Color and Texture
Magnolia's process mimics many of the conditions of the ocean without the risk of any sand residue or after-taste. Unlike almost all the shrimp in the marketplace, Magnolia Shrimp have never been frozen which produces a unique taste treat. The result is a product with excellent color and texture and a wonderful sweet taste.


Season-in & Season-out.
Unlike outdoor ponds, we produce our ocean shrimp in a controlled, bio-secure, indoor environment that is protected from the weather and allows weekly harvesting year-round. Our inland location further protects our shrimp from disease and coastal weather disturbances.


Eco-Friendly and Environmentally Responsible
Using recirculating water technology, Magnolia recycles and reuses its water resulting in minimal water use once the tanks are filled. Waste products are minimized and recycled with any excess going to industrial sewage treatment. Unlike other shrimp farming methods, Magnolia's system does not have an impact on mangrove forests, cause pollution of ocean eco-systems or result in inadvertent by-catch of turtles or other endangered fish species.

This is the perfect (and maybe only) alternative to frozen imported shrimp for those discerning tastes who seek high quality, fresh product.
